Cardiology Conference

Peer-Review medical literature suggests that case presentation conferences serve as a vehicle to improve current medical care and provide knowledge about the most recent cardiovascular advances.  Morbidity & Mortality data, Quality/Practice Improvement Data Guidelines, Hospital QA analyses suggest that this teaching modality appears to be a productive venue to identify best practices that will improve the quality of patient care.

1. Promote a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with cardiovascular disease.
2. Apply evidence-based medicine to ensure the most appropriate clinical pathways for enhanced patient outcomes and continuous quality improvement.
3. Advance the evaluation, treatment and management of patients through discussion of novel approaches and advanced therapies.
4. Identify best practices by identifying errors and hazards in care wile providing interventions and processes that will improve patient outcomes and the quality of patient care.
